Ein neues, ganz besonderes Ereignis mit OutOfBlue kündigt sich an… Mittlerweile ist die Band ja schon 11 Jahre erfolgreich in der Musikszene… "One of the most original European bands on the jazz scene" (Originalzitat Cheltenham/ England) ist nur einer der vielen Kommentare zu diesem lebendigen Musikprojekt.

Im Frühjahr 2006 gibt es ein neues Projekt mit OutOfBlue - OUT OF BLUE world edition - eine musikalisch sinnliche Begegnung mit verschiedensten Einflüssen aus der Weite der Welt…ob oriental, nordic, jazz, classical, shamanistic - das neue Programm bieten einen Bogen aus spannenden Kompositionen, wo Bewegtheit und Stille in einem reifen musikalischen Kontext miteinander stehen. Im neuem LineUp mit Aija-Riitta Holopainen, Harald Peterstorfer, Volkhard Iglseder, Ali Angerer und Rainer Deixler findet man so interessante Instrumente wie - dulcimer, nordic voice, accordion, acoustic guitar, tuba, udu, percussions, piano, sounds, frame drum…

Ein musikalisches Erlebnis für Menschen, die das Geheimnisvolle lieben, die berührt sind von den Farben des Herbstes, dem warmen Licht einer Spätnachmittagssonne und dem Tanz des Regens - für all jene, die gerne mitkommen zu einer kontemplativen Reise in die Weite der Musik...

A new, very special event with Out Of Blue is coming up…
Up to now the band has been appearing very successfully among the music scene… “One of the original European bands on the jazz scene” (Cheltenham/England) is one of many kind comments to this vivid music project.

In spring 2006 a new project with Out Of Blue is being introduced –

OUT OF BLUE world edition – a sensitiv musical combination of various impressions of genres from all over the world… oriental, nordic, jazz, classic, shamanism… the new program describes a wide arc of exciting compositions – vividness and silence in contact…
The new line up with Aija-Riitta Holopainen, Harald Peterstorfer, Volkhard Iglseder, Ali Angerer and Rainer Deixler offers very intresting Instruments like electric dulcimer, nordic voice, accordion, acoustic guitar, tuba, udu, percussions, piano, sounds, frame drum…

A great musical event for people, who love the mysterious, being touched by the colors of autumn, the warm light of the disappearing sun, and the dancing rain – for all those, who´d like to join a medidative journey to the wideness of music.

1993 spielten OUT OF BLUE ihr erstes Konzert mit Wolfgang Puschnig.

1994 erschien die CD "OnThe Right Places", die die EigenArt und besonders die Feinheit der Musik von OOB dokumentiert.

Wesentlich beeinflußt wurde der musikalische Weg durch die Zusammenarbeit mit Musikern aus Indien, Indonesien (1995) und Brasilien (1996).

1997 wurde das Quartett mit dem Programm "Great Story Of A Home" zum internationalen Jazzfestival Wiesen eingeladen, 1998 zum internationalen Jazzfestival Cheltenham/England.
Originalzitat "One of the most original European bands on the jazz scene". Teile des Konzertes waren auch in Radio BBC zu hören.

Für das Jahr 2000 hat die erfolgreiche Band wieder ein neues, sehr interessantes Projekt vorbereitet: "Legend Of The Red Stone". Ein künstlerisches Gewebe von neuen, berührenden Kompositionen, die sich am Leitfaden - the best music near silence - orientiert.

"The band plays their own European style of jazz from spacey Jan Garbarek - like duets to great funky work-outs. This music, based on an unusual line-up, blends jazz with elements of the mother tongue, contemporary music and toucks of ethnic music". (Zitat Cheltenham)

In 1994 their CD "On The Right Places" appeared which shows the individuality and the refinement of their music.

The style of OUT OF BLUE was considerably influenced by their co-operation with musicians from India, Indonesia (1995), and Brazil (1996).
In 1997 the quartett was invited to the international jazzfestival Wiesen with ther program"Great Story of a Home", in 1998 they performed at the international jazzfestival in Cheltenham / England.

Parts of the concert were broadcast on Radio BBC and they were described as "One ...."

For 1999 and spring 2000 the successful band has again prepared a very interesting new project: "The Legend of the Red Stone".
An artistic web of new, moving compositions which can be entitled "the best music near silence".
